ACECQA approval and regulatory requirements

ACECQA publishes approved Certificate III, Diploma and early childhood teaching qualifications under the National Quality Framework. Students should search the current list for the exact qualification and consider jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Requirements for working with children, first aid, emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training can apply separately. Employers and regulators may also require current evidence, suitability checks and ongoing professional learning.

Entry and course selection considerations

Providers may set requirements relating to age, education, English, interview, digital literacy, inherent requirements and workplace suitability. Diploma applicants must meet the qualification’s current entry requirement.

Compare the qualification code, ACECQA approval, provider registration, workplace arrangements, duration, delivery schedule, tuition fees, screening and first-aid costs and further pathways. International students should confirm that the exact course and provider suit their intended student visa arrangements.
